New Rider

The NEW RIDER section is expanding daily, with the aim of providing everything the two wheel novice needs and wants to know about getting into motorcycling, safety, the complex test and licencing labyrinth, insurance and of course, the bikes themselves. The main features are listed below and in the black menu bar above.

This is an interactive site and comments or questions added after features or in the forums are welcome and responded to rapidly.

* Still to come: how to buy used; what kind of clothing to wear; how to do basic maintenance; a bluffer’s guide to bikes and biking; test reports of learner and first big bikes written for newcomers rather than the biking savvy, and much much more!
