Ashonbikes website future

Over the last year, since Kevin passed away, not much has happened on the website. I have been too upset to do much about it. I needed time to think where I was going with my life and what to do with the website. I now feel more focused. The site can not stay as it was intended, so I would like to move the ashonbikes website into a new stage of its life.

One of the ideas is to open the website up to selected journalists to add their articles. I have been in contact with a journalist who is going to contribute in the near future.

I have started a blog on shop.ashonbikes.com After Kevin's death I was determined to continue to be involved with motorbikes. In my blog you can read how I am getting on, and what I have been up to.

Thank you all for your support,
Caroline

Having other journalists contribute sounds like a cracking idea and I'd really enjoy seeing others' thoughts on this. Personally I like the layout of the site with the bike tests and articles being articulated in the way they are/were.

Anyone else got any thoughts on this matter?

BTW - Good luck with the biking. Once it's in your blood it stays there!

Sounds like a great idea to rekindle interest into the site. Of course, following in Kev's footsteps will be a tall order for those journalist brave and kind enough to oblige! :-)

Caroline, as you know I am all for this and I think we all shall be more than happy to drum up support and traffic as best we can. There are a number of guys who were regulars on here that we can hook up with again and drive them back. I am pretty sure you can count on all our support.

I'm probably one of the ex-regulars (still lurk though...) that shuggie is referring too? I think different journos contributing road tests is a great idea.

I also have always liked the general layout of the site so would like to see that remain.
