Off to Florida and the not very bike friendly Homestead Miami Speedway to ride the revised Suzuki superbike. It's had the same upgrades that transformed the GSX-R600 so on the quiet, I suspect this could be significantly improved.
Anyway, questions to Suzuki staff - or me - post 'em here!
Riding the bike on Feb 8.

Re: Suzuki GSX-R1000

Always loved your reviews although your honesty probably doesn't go down well with manufacturers and corporate types, it is greatly appreciated by the spending public. Liked the admission about the vibration that other reviewers have mysteriously omitted, it's something I could forgive if Suzuki were starting to turn it around and point their flagship in the right direction. Is there any reason, environmental or government induced as to why suzuki cannot go back to the linear power of the earlier gsxr 1000's ? I've owned the k4 and was seriously saddened having bought the k7 without testing it first... I thought it was stuck in "C" mode and having ridden the K6 (what a bike) and a K1 prior to a k10 and k11 it's obvious my beloved Suzuki are on a decline. It has not helped that currency exchange rates jumped prices to the inflated levels that they are now and naturally they do not want to bump up prices further by increased R+D and production costs but a little retro would be nice just re-jig the K6 and put big piston forks on it to help with ever so slight vagueness and redesign the hook nose. instant winner. Could you also give us a review on the bridgestone tyres on the road that are getting a slating on the track ?
