motorail
Hi all
I'm loooking to transport the bike (+ myself and wife) from South East England to North Italy by rail and then tour Italy. The motorail prices are horrendous. Anybody found a decent price/route that doesn't cost more than the bike itself?
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers

Your best (and probably only) option is Deutsche Bahnhof.

Ride to Dusseldorf, motorail to Bolzano in the Dolomites.
Fabulous route, relaxing start to holiday and not much more than petrol/hotel costs.

I drove motorail (and most other trains) for 30 years almost and bikes/trains don't go much now--except the Chunnel.
I would look at ferries instead--OR RIDE!
