Let's all vote to get Rocca in a 'Gear Up' for 2011!

We've all shared and enjoyed Rocca's often left-field contributions to AshonBikes. Haven't we?
Rootling through topics born of our febrile two-wheeled fantasies, we unearth truffle-like rocca-confections that amuse and baffle, in equal measure. Okay, we occasionally spit them out, if mouldy.
Along with a touching loyalty to Yamaha, he has confessed to a love - that dares speak its name - of Ural.
I would like to get a list together (just agree below!), that we can present to Mr Ash, so he may petition on behalf of rocca to those big-hearted folk at Irbit (vodka optional).

Good idea silvercub. I will second it.

Beware serving up too many back-handed compliments, Signor Silvercub (or should that be "Cucciolo d'argento", given your recent Sicilian sojourn?). I'd hate to think that you might end up without full use of a wrist.
Anyway, the forces of darkness are closing in rapidly and I don't think the Gear Up - even with its gun emplacement - is still going to cut it. This one, however, looks to be just the job. I can hide out in the woods in that caravan until the postman gives up. And the boat looks like it will easily outrun the customs marine unit on the open water...

That Woodie just gave wood to this woody.
It's everything a middle-aged man could possibly desire...

Now that is my kind of machine - makes the Monkeystrada look incredibly mundane.

Not a bit of it!
Small is beautiful, as Schumacher (Eric, not Michael) and Silverbrownie reassure me.

Best ever motorcycle ad?
BMW won't be too happy, though. They must have thought the canine bike market was all theirs, having discovered the boxer and re-homed Husky. OK, the standard GS might be a bit of a stretch for anything other than a Great Dane, but a couple of dog bones in the linkage will have that sorted. And didn't King Kennel Roberts once do a couple of demo laps on a sporty R1200?
As for that Tavullian dialect of yours Silverpup, and the sponsor-friendly reference to Ducati, would I be right in thinking that you're channeling the spirit of the late Guido?

Have we finally lost Rocca to the forces of darkness?
Or has he, as this video suggests, been engaging in some extreme off roading?

The only other plausible reason is that he's been pressed into service by the Bow Street Runners, riding as part of an FJR1300 escort at the Royal Wedding.

In return he would, of course be required to write a monthly report on living with aforesaid 'Gear Up'.
Plus a long term assessment with regular updates on software upgrades, performance enhancements (that's the bike, of course), screen options and general grommit-worthiness.
I think his style is in accordance with Ural tongue-in-cheekiness, providing he doesn't start re-writing history!
