Cat and Fiddle warning

Mobile camera on this bikers' paradise today.
Be warned. Many think the average cameras are flawed due to the diversion route as highlighted in MCN many times, but the van was out today.

Rode it uphill for the first time the other week. Enough fun for me staying within the speed limit and concentrating on smoothness and correct lines.

The cameras appear to have some sections covered now, and MCN is also warning that 'plain clothes' bike-mounted police have been joining in groups of riders as if they're just another bike along for the ride, but they have video cameras on their bikes and they're recording everything that goes on, speeds and so on, then prosecuting. So watch out for bikes you don't know tagging along!

What an underhand way of going about things - how to improve relations between road users and the police eh, stoke up suspicion and get everyone looking over their shoulder the whole time.

Speeding.
It's a tricky one and always has been.
Nobody who is honest and owns, say, a GSXR1000 or ZX10R will claim he/she never, ever, speeds. Well, okay, 99% of owners of those bikes will 'speed' at some point in the year.
I am more than happy with 'excess' speed, when it's safe to do so and am no angel by any means, but you can see the other side of things when, as i did this week, a Suzuki GSXR1000 goes past you, doing well over 100 mph on a 50mph road with many turn offs and houses etc.
But yes, cops are now out on regular bikes and one rides a 2009 R1 i am told. (Derbyshire Police).

I guess being at sea has some benefits...

That's about the only one I can think of though!

Maybe groups should issue bibs or something so a 'stranger' would be easily picked out?
