Bike tyres???

Hi Guys,
Planning a trip to the Atlas mountains in September. I will be using a KTM 990 SMT which comes with brilliant standard continentals. However, I may well go off 'piste' anyone got any experience of a good tyre choice for road, grit, sand?

I don't have any experience myself of semi-off road rubber on the SM-T but some guys I know should, I'll check out what they have to say and get back, though it'll be another week I'm afraid.
