Triumph is producing a high spec version of the Speed Triple and a limited edition Bonneville for 2012.

The Speed Triple R will come with top spec NIC30 Öhlins inverted forks and an Öhlins TTX36 twin tube rear shock, mated to new forged aluminium wheels claimed to be 3.75lb (1.7kg) lighter than the stock version’s.

Braking is looked after by Brembo Monobloc callipers in conjunction with Triumph’s switchable ABS. The combination of suspension and wheels is responsible for a 5 per cent improvement in braking performance, according to Triumph.

Colours available are black or white, each with red subframe and detailing.
